Apply your Electrical Engineering & Design skills in the Defence Maritime sector.

Rubicon Associates have two new positions in our Melbourne Office that will help further build our Electrical (Design) Engineering capability to meet our future project pipeline.

As part of a multi-disciplinary consultancy, you will add specialist expertise that helps us to collectively deliver value to our Naval Defence and Commercial clients.

If you are suitably qualified and currently working in the Defence Maritime sector, or looking to transition from another industry, we’d like to hear from you.

Due to the nature of the roles, you must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to apply for an NV1 Security Clearance.

 

Electrical (Design) Engineer

Joining a busy team, your focus will be to deliver Project Design activities related to Concept, Principle, and Detailed Design and to undertake analysis to support integration of marine electrical systems into platforms for medium to large scale Naval Defence projects.

Whilst undertaking Electrical Design you’ll also be transitioning longer term to Project Managing your own projects and dealing with Clients.

Electrical Design Draftsperson

Reporting to our Senior Electrical Engineer, your focus will be to deliver Electrical Design Drawings for Concept, Principle and Detailed Design activities in accordance with client specifications and relevant Australian Standards.

Being a multidisciplinary team, you will also collaborate closely with the mechanical and naval architectural disciplines to deliver design drawings such as illustrations and diagrams for engineering documentation, such as reports and specifications.
