Rubicon Associates is delighted to welcome the newest member to our growing team, Kerry Ross. A Naval Veteran with over 35 years of service in the Royal Australian Navy, Kerry achieved a career milestone by achieving his charge qualification on HMAS SYDNEY (FFG).

Outside of his Naval service, Kerry has remained within the Defence sector, continuing his career with Thales as a Technical Officer, Ship Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Manager in Newcastle and Townsville. Moving north to Cairns, Kerry was later the Senior Technical Officer and Ship Maintenance Manager with BAE Systems.

Kerry brings over 40 years of maritime engineering experience, sea and shore, to Rubicon Associates that will further enhance the integration between wharf and design house. He holds a Diploma of Engineering in Marine Systems, Graduate Certificate in Electronics Analysis and a Diploma of Engineering in Electrical Systems.

Kerry is passionate about supporting Naval Platforms. There is no doubt he will be a valuable addition to our organisation, particularly with his range of skills, depth of experience and his alignment to Rubicon Associates’ commitment of promoting excellence in maritime engineering.

Kerry will be based in our Cairns Office.
