As a veteran, Rian comes to Rubicon Associates with over 12 years of service in the Royal Australian Navy where he held numerous Marine Engineering positions that included the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group, Naval Construction Branch – Offshore Patrol Vessels and Fleet Support Units – Armidale Class Patrol Boats, and seagoing roles in ANZAC Class Frigates and Hydrographic Ships. 

Combined with his extensive experience as a Marine Engineering Officer, Rian’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Aerospace) and Master of Project Management.  

Outside of work, Rian enjoys a variety of activities including riding his motorbike, fishing, and going to the gym. He is looking forward to the challenges in the defence industry sector, yet still being able to support the Royal Australian Navy.

Rian will be based in our Adelaide Office.
