Rubicon Associates were engaged to develop the design for a vessel wet exhaust compartment re-zoning project.

Rubicon Associates completed a review and developed an engineering proposal for the upgrade of the vessel’s potable hot water and freshwater systems.

Rubicon Associates completed a review and developed an upgrade proposal for the vessel's low voltage power system.

Rubicon Associates was contracted to perform detailed structural static and dynamic analysis and provide design change recommendations on the proposed installation of a new onboard training, assessment and qualification system.

Rubicon Associates worked with Austal to develop proposals for engineering changes across multiple systems, including the navigation systems, hotel services, fire fighting systems and electrical upgrades.  

Rubicon Associates was contracted to assist in reviewing the Hydraulic Oil (HO) cleanliness procedures on board and for developing new process recommendations.

Rubicon Associates was contracted to prepare a Feasibility Study Report (FSR) for the RAN to consider whether to progress with the installation of a Water Mist or Inergen Inert Gas Engine Room Firefighting system on the MHC’s.

In collaboration with the client, Rubicon Associates undertook a steady-state toxic gas flow Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. The CFD analysis also provided coarse, steady-state based information about local high levels of turbulence due to flow around objects.

Rubicon Associates was engaged to support the client’s Asset Integrity Management System, undertaking independent engineering assessment of seawater system components to ensure ongoing equipment performance and reliability.

Rubicon Associates was selected to provide Program and Product Management Services and Support, which included the placement of a Commonwealth Onsite Representative during the construction of the AORs at the Navantia shipyard in Ferrol, Spain.
